How the 101 Sign Up Jam works

Everyone and anyone is allowed to sign up and everyone will get a chance to jam.

The jams are always free and you will never pay to play.

The jam is held once a month and YOU MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE via the online sign up sheet.

If the jam list is already full DONT WORRY, the jammers who didnt get a chance to sign up in time for the current jam night, get priority for the following jam night.

On the sign up page (at the bottom of the HOME page) you will enter if you are a SINGER or INSTRUMENTALIST, and what instrument you play,  and submit your email. You will get a response within 24 hours requesting more information and when you respond, you are "signed up".

SINGERS pick two songs of their choice during week one via a private group email sent by the jam staff. Songs must be studio versions and under 6 minutes. COVERS ONLY. These songs will be performed in their original key.

After singers submit their song choices for week one, they will get a confirmation that they have been added to the jam list. INSTRUMENTALISTS  will then review the jam list and will sign up for the open slots. The jam list will be updated every 24 hours or less. You can view the current list, and even check your showtimes by clicking here. (follow this link to the Jam tab)

By week four, a complete list will be filled out with exact showtimes for each performer.

Please Note:

The venue will always be in Ventura County, and will be posted approximately four weeks in advance.

Raffles are planned for giving away free items!

There will be no rehearsal, and you may not know who anyone is on the stage with you during these fun networking events. It is everyone's responsibility to learn the songs/parts they choose and just try their best. Nobody cares if you make a mistake, but being professional and learning your parts is strongly encouraged. Nobody is here to judge, even though the purpose of these events are to have fun and possibly meet new people that can offer a potential gig, or even a great friendship. Bands can startup from these events and most certainly will.

There will be an included backline, and exact information the the included backline is posted on the backline tab

PLEASE READ BACKLINE TAB!!
